SPECIAL DEDICATION

Willam Albert Publishers will soon be releasing my book “Can A Woman Preach?” This has been a project that has been developing for several years. I felt like the Lord wanted me to write this book to help people realize that the Lord can use women to be effective leaders and preachers in ministry.

No one can be an effective minister without a supportive team of people surrounding them. Several years ago, I met a couple Jay and Tina Jones. Jay supported his wife, Evangelist Tina Turner Jones, in her ministry. I saw him help her with the administrative side of the ministry and watch her preach with a proud look in his face. His support to her ministry, helped her to be able to operate freely in the ministerial gift the Lord had assigned to her.

Recently I found out that Evangelist Tina Jones passed away May 16, 2010. Unfortunately, because I didn’t find out about her passing until a few weeks ago, I didn’t attend any of the memorial services.

Sometimes you don’t understand why the Lord delays things for you. If I would have published “Can A Women Preach”? when I wanted to then I would have missed this special nugget that the Lord wanted me to include in my book.

The Lord put on my heart to add another dedication to my book. I believe the dedication will say it all for me.

This book is also dedicated to Donald “Jay” Jones. It was so awesome to see how you supported your wife, Evangelist Tina Turner Jones in her ministry. Your support made it so easy for her to obey the Lord in her calling. I believe your excellent assistance to her helped her to hear when she faced Jesus Christ “Good and faithful servant.” Your support is an example to us all! Thank you for standing by your “woman of God.”

As we continue to celebrate the life and ministry of Evangelist Tina Turner Jones, please remember Jay Jones in your prayers as he continues to carry out what the Lord has put on his heart to do.
